Ovo je najzastupljeniji oblik biciklizma,koji zahteva najbolju fizicku spremnost.Obuhvata duge voznje kroz najrazlicitije terene.Spada u takmicarske sportove,pa je samim tim priznat kao olimpijski sport 1996. godine.Nije tako ekstreman sto se tice voznje kao ostali vidovi biciklizma koje sam opisivao,pa nema ni toliko ozbiljnih ozleda i padova.
Bike je standardnog izgleda sa veoma kvalitetnim delovima,bez ili sa manjim amortizerom nazad i jednim napred sa manjim hodom.
Trke su veoma naporne i iscrpljujuce jer traju i po nekoliko dana,sa pauzama preko noci na zaustavnim mestima koja su specijalno pripremljena za ovakve dogadjaje.
